Specifications include, but are not limited to: The bridge site is on CTH EF (Hartling Road) over the Bark River. This is located 0.5 mile east of CTH E, in Section23, T08N, R18E, Town of Merton. The existing bridge (B-67-210) is a two-span box culvert that was constructed in 1984. The roof of the box culvert serves as the roadway driving surface. The structure was constructed using black reinforcing steel. Most of the structure is in good condition. However, an estimated 8% of the top wearing surface is delaminated. At the twoculvert ends, the pier wall and roof underside are deteriorating, with delamination and spalling present. The steelW-beam railing is in satisfactory condition. The approach guardrail is in poor condition and does not meet currentstandards. Three of the four wingwalls have tipped outward. The existing right of way at the bridge matches theadopted ultimate width of 66 feet on CTH EF. A gas main that ran through the structure interior was recently relocated to beneath the river to the south of the structure. Waukesha County completed infrared thermo graphyscans of the bridge wearing surface in 2014 and 2021, indicating deck delamination of 6.1%. The bridge is structurally deficient with a sufficiency rating of 70.7. The 2018 traffic volume on this roadway segment was 3,200vehicles per day
