Specifications include, but are not limited to: The bridge site is on westbound CTH VV (Silver Spring Drive) over the Menomonee River. This is located 1.4miles east of CTH YY (Pilgrim Road) in Section 36, T08N, R20E, Village of Butler.The existing bridge (B-67-85) is a three-span prestressed concrete deck-girder structure that was constructed in1964. A concrete overlay was placed on the bridge deck in 1994. The bridge girders and substructure are in goodto fair condition. The deck is in poor condition, with a high percentage of delamination and some spalling. Thesidewalk and railings are deteriorating, with delamination, spalling, and exposed bar steel. The abutments havesome active cracking, and the east there is a void beneath the east abutment due to slope settlement. The bridgesufficiency rating is 71.0. Waukesha County completed infrared thermography scans of the deck wearing surfacein 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2021. The most recent scan indicates the wearing surface is 37.5% delaminated. The2018 traffic volume on the westbound bridge was 14,250 vehicles per day.The adjacent bridge carrying CTH VV eastbound traffic is B-67-84. The eastbound bridge deck was previouslyreplaced in the local bridge program in 1994
