Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Delaware State University (hereinafter “University”) is seeking Proposals from qualified firms (“Proposers”) to provide Athletic Training and Sports Medicine Services. • One (1) 12-month, fulltime head athletic trainer @not to exceed $115,000 including benefits and taxes. • Two (2) 12-month, fulltime assistant athletic trainers @not to exceed $86,250 including benefits and taxes. • Four (4) 10-month, athletic trainers @not to exceed $69,000 including benefits and taxes. • Athletic Training staff will work the necessary hours to fulfill duties as it is understood that scope of duties may exceed more than 40 hours per week on a consistent basis. • Expectation for home coverage and away competition as needed. • Head athletic trainer will ensure coverage for all sports daily as some athletic facilities are off-site. • Vendor must ensure that all Trainers are certified / licensed to perform their duties in the state of Delaware.
