Specifications include, but are not limited to: Outagamie County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a new 911 Communication Center and a 20,000 sf storage facility on the existing Sheriff’s office building site located at 3030 E Goodland Drive, Appleton WI 54911. The County’s existing 911 Center is currently located within the lower level of the County’s Justice Center at 320 S Walnut Street, Appleton WI and will be relocated to the 3030 E Goodland site once the new Communication Center has been constructed. This project will include the construction of a new standalone 911 Communications Center, site work and the addition of a 20,000 sf storage facility to the existing Sheriff’s building. There are two separate design firms associated with this project. Wold Architects and Engineers performed the design work and will be providing project oversight for both the site work and the 911 Communications Center. Martenson & Eisele, Inc. performed the design work and will be providing project oversight for the 20,000 sf storage facility addition. While both of these projects were designed by separate firms, coordination between the two firms took place throughout the design process in order to coordinate site layout and to standardize specification where possible. It is the County’s intent to combine both of these projects into one construction project to be completed simultaneously by one single prime contractor.
