Specifications include, but are not limited to: Brown County is looking to develop a 1 year Private/Public partnership bike rental program. Brown County is looking for a vendor(s) to lease NEW Zoo & Adventure Park program access to a bike fleet and services according to the below specs. Final agreement is negotiable. • Legal/Liability coverage o NEW Zoo & Adventure Park insurance shall cover Participant and equipment. o NEW Zoo & Adventure Park/Brown County will be covered legally through Recreational Immunity. o Participants will sign a “participant to NEW Zoo & Adventure Park” rental agreement. o Participant shall sign a liability waiver provided by the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park. o Rental waiver shall indemnify BC and NEW Zoo & Adventure Park of all injuries and incidents related to rental program. o Bikes will be maintained by NEW Zoo & Adventure Park staff on a daily basis and by the Vendor on a monthly basis. Lease agreement would require that the vendor perform all major maintenance required on equipment as needed. o NEW Zoo & Adventure Park shall provide safety equipment as needed as part of the rental. • Finances o Vendor shall lease the bikes to NEW Zoo & Adventure Park on per use commission rate. The commission rate and recommended Rental Rates shall be agreed upon in final contract. Example: • Rental Rate= $25/hr • Each time a bike gets rented Vendor will get reimbursed %50 of revenue from each rental = $12.50 per hour/per bike that is rented. • All bike use and revenue will be tracked through point of sale system. o Bikes would stay the property of the vendor. At the end of the season the vendor will maintain ownership of the bikes. o Bikes shall be rented to public at the following rates ranges: Hourly: $5-30 per bike, per person including safety gear o NEW Zoo & Adventure Park would expect to see a minimum commission of 50% of rental program gross revenue. o All financial transactions are run through NEW Zoo & Adventure Park Point of sale system. o Vendor cannot handle any financial transactions. o At the end of each quarter the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park would run a revenue report and compensate vendor the agreed upon amount through remittance check.
