Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Wisconsin, Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS) on behalf of the Department of Administration (DOA), Division of Facilities and Transportation Services (DFTS), requests Bids for the purchase of Statewide Janitorial Services at state owned properties; Contractor shall use cleaners that meet Green Seal Certification. Certification of Green Seal compliance shall be given to the DFTS Representative prior to commencement of work. Use of products claiming equivalence, but not Green Seal Certified, may be used with documentation of other independent third-party verification to show compliance with Green Seal Standards. An automatic floor scrubber shall be kept on each site except for the following: • Administration Building • Air Services Hangar • DOA-DET Computer Center • Eau Claire State Office Building • Milwaukee Crime Lab • Risser Justice Building • State Natural Resources Building (GEF 2) • Wisconsin Public Broadcasting Building • Wisconsin Rapids State Office Building. Floors in heavy traffic areas such as vestibules, lobby, reception areas, waiting areas, self-service areas, aisles, etc., shall require extra daily and spot cleaning. Extra effort in vacuuming, wet mopping or dusting shall be required at times. This shall be done to maintain the building at a high standard of cleanliness.
