Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (DSCYF) also known as the “Delaware Children’s Department” has primary responsibility for providing and managing a range of services for children who have experienced abandonment, abuse, neglect, adjudication and who are at risk of or who have developed behavioral health challenges. DSCYF’s Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS) provides a range of behavioral health prevention, early intervention and treatment services including the Extended Hours Program (aka Safe Haven). The Safe Haven Program is designed to serve youth in communities with high levels of violence with the goal of reducing youth’s exposure by providing a safe place for them to engage in prosocial activities between the hours of 6pm and 10pm, a minimum of four days a week. DSCYF is requesting proposals from bidders interested in providing the services described in this Request for Proposal (RFP). DSCYF anticipates making multiple contractual awards.
