Specifications include, but are not limited to: Indian River School District is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide individualizedtransportation for students in grades Pre-K-12 who are experiencing homelessness, students infoster care placements, and students identified by the Indian River School District that needprivate transportation services. Many of these placements occur during the school year and canbe temporary in nature. The Indian River School District will notify the successful vendor(s) ofnew students via fax and/or email. The services to be provided include:•Work with the Indian River School District Supervisor of Alternative Programs and individualschool personnel to expedite and facilitate the process of providing transportation tostudents•Contact the parent/guardian within 48 hours of receiving new student notification forintroduction and communication of pick-up/drop-off time•Communicate with the individual school administrators regarding any student discipline issue/concerns•Communicate with the Indian River School District Supervisor of Alternative Programs regarding any discrepancies with student information•Contact parent/guardian in a timely manner if there needs to be a change in time due to the addition/subtraction of a student or route adjustment
