Specifications include, but are not limited to: The forecasting services for this RFP should provide KUSD with all associated services and technologies (i.e. menu list) to gather relevant stakeholder data and manipulatives for scenario considerations. Some of the requested data points would be (but not limited to): • current and historical student data • birth and demographic data • student mobility rates • planned housing developments • historical student yield rates. • All current school zones and planning areas Consulting and training services would provide KUSD with a collaborative partner to manage this process, from concept and data gathering to stakeholder presentations and feedback gathering and development of administrative recommendations for School Board consideration. Vendors should be able to provide quality demographers and GIS experts. Initial timeline would be data gathering starting in summer 2023, with several months for services listed above and potential School Board recommendation by December 2023, and into early 2024. This would include preparing and giving presentations to different district groups, committees, and the School Board. Also looking to have continued support into the 2024-25 school year to evaluate redistricting changes and impact on decisions.
