Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Madison Traffic Engineering (“City”) is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for Pavement Marking Removal/Replacement on Milwaukee Street. The job involves removal of pavement markings on asphalt and concrete, resealing of the concrete where removal occurred and installing epoxy pavement markings. The pavement marking removal on concrete must be done using water or hydro‐blasting methods. We expect the work to be done while maintaining 2‐way traffic between 8:30 am – 4:00 pm on weekdays. This means you would be allowed to close all but one bi‐directional lane of travel if/when necessary to complete work. Flaggers would be needed to direct the flow and direction of traffic.
