Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Madison Community Development Authority (“City”) is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for Mowing and Trimming at East, Triangle and West Properties. The mowing season will start on May 1, 2023 and end November 31, 2023. Contractor will start work upon contract signatures, all properties must be mowed and trimmed every week (May, June, and July). Thereafter, mowing and trimming will be done every two weeks (August, September, and October). 2. The contract will be comprised of approximately 20 mowing cycles. Mowing or trimming beyond the quantity specified will be paid on a pro-rata basis. a. During the heavy growing season (May, June, and July) contractor will mow/trim weekly (and will communicate ahead of time with each site Manager for approval if in question). b. The contractor will repair any damage caused by their lawn care equipment. 3. The following properties shall be trimmed with each mowing: a. Truax Park Apartments b. Truax Park LLC c. 3509 Anderson St. d. Tenney Park Apartments e. Williamson St Apartments f. All West properties g. All Triangle properties. h. Wright St. Apartments i. Webb–Rethke Apartments. 4. Trimming is to include all weeds within the property boundaries, including but not limited to; parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, terraces, fences and fence posts, light poles, foundations, footings, steps, retaining walls and, tree banks as well as around trees, shrubs and planting areas. Property boundaries include, but are not limited to, curbs, aprons, sidewalks, tree- banks, planted areas, etc. which are within the City’s right of way, or within easements, to the property. 5. Failure to maintain a consistent mowing of each and every property may result in contract termination. 6. Trash must be picked up before every mowing. Failure to clean grounds before mowing may result in contract termination. 7. Clippings from mowing and trimmings shall be removed from walk and lawns immediately after completion of mowing and/or trimming.
