Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Wisconsin-Madison is requesting bids for the purchase of a human test surrogate for research being done by the Mechanical Engineering department. An anthropometric test device representing a 50th percentile male, with all components comprising the lumbar spine up through the torso, arms, neck, and head, meeting the requirements of the Hybrid-III ATD in accordance with 49 CFR Part 572 part E, and including instrumentation to measure linear acceleration and angular rate of the head as well as forces at the upper and lower neck. Supplier must provide 3D models of all components that will be included as part of this purchase in conjunction with the delivery of the hardware. (E.g. .STL files that can be imported into a CAD program.) Supplier must provide one (1) hardcopy and a digital version of both installation and technical manuals for the equipment in conjunction with the delivery of the hardware.
