Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is requesting professional architectural and engineering services for anti-ligature window and door hardware, plumbing fixtures and piping, lighting fixtures and switches, restroom accessories, and resident room accessories throughout the existing building of the Center for Forensic Psychiatry. This is immediately applicable to the resident occupied areas. The successful professional services contractor shall be familiar with the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid anti-ligature measures. The professional services contractor shall use the Patient Safety Standards, Materials and Systems Guidelines (recommended) from the New York Office of Mental Health as guidance for design and specifying of anti-ligature measures to be implemented. The professional services contractor shall provide architectural and engineering services for both design and construction administration.
