Proposals for power washing services are being requested for the following buildings owned by New Castle County: Government Center – 87 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720 Gilliam Building - 77 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720 Conner Building – 187A Old Churchmans Road, New Castle, DE 19720 Public Safety Building – 3601 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720 The standard proposals we are requesting will be based on a cost per square foot to power wash all the brick front, drivit, concrete associated with these structures, including pillars and columns. All glass associated with these buildings are to be treated with a rinse free wash, which would not leave behind streaks or residue. We will also require power washing of sidewalks, landings and steps; however, this is to be quoted separately The chemical solution to be used is to be stated within the proposal submission. Preference is for green organic chemical spray to be used, but not mandatory. The solution used must be harm free to all grass, vegetation, etc. associated with these buildings. As these buildings are publicly accessible to view the exterior, we will not be hosting site visits, but you may go to the sites as necessary to ascertain the required equipment to perform the job.
