Specifications include, but are not limited to: STANDARD AND BARIATRIC BEDS 3.2.1 The beds must be a molded, one piece, impact resistant and fire -retardant polymer, with the ability to be floor mounted through bolt down installation 3.2.2 The standard bed box must accommodate a 36” x 80” mattress, with a raised sleep surface approximately 18” from the floor. This bed size is mandatory to accommodate a standard size mattress 3.2.3 The bariatric bed box must accommodate a 48” x 80” mattress, with a raised sleep surface approximately 18” from the floor and be rated for up to 600 pounds. This bed size is mandatory to accommodate a bariatric size mattress. 3.2.4 Bed should have a raised lip around the bed deck to pool fluids for easy clean - up. STANDARD AND BARIATRIC MATTRESSES 3.3.1 The dimensions of the standard mattress must be 36” W x 80” L x 6” H. 3.3.2 The dimensions of the bariatric mattress must be 48” W x 80” L x 6” H. 3.3.3 Standard and bariatric mattresses must be 100% sealed seam construction with polyurethane foam core. 3.3.4 Exterior of standard and bariatric mattresses must be puncture/tear resistant and repel oil, water, and bodily fluids. 3.3.5 Standard and bariatric mattresses must meet the requirements of International Fire Code, Section 805.3.2 WALL MOUNTED SHELF 3.4.1 The shelf must be a molded, one piece, impact resistant and fire -retardant polymer, with the ability to be wall mounted through bolt installation. 3.4.2 Shelving shall contain 3 or 4-open/cubby compartments to be used for storage. 3.4.3 Shelving shall be between 40”-60” H x 25”-30” W x 10”-13” D. ARMED AND ARMLESS SIDE CHAIR 3.5.1 Chairs must be molded, one piece, impact resistant and fire -retardant polymer, with the ability to be mounted through bolt down installation o r linked together through secure mechanical tamper-proof fastening. 3.5.2 Chairs must have the ability to have weight added to prevent weaponization, ease of moving, throwing, or other mishandling. 3.5.3 Chair shall be between 30”-35” H, 24”-30” W, 21”-25” D, and seat height between 16”-18”. 3.5.4 Chairs must have options that contain both arms and no arms. 3.5.5 Chair must be rated to hold up to 600 pounds.
