Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Ashland, Wisconsin, seeks competitive development proposals from qualified developers to help the City attain the sustainable vision set forth in its Comprehensive Plan for the Junction Road Development Site. The Junction Road Development area is comprised of approximately 5.5 acres of publicly-owned property located on the northwest side of Ashland, in close proximity to Prentice Park on the western edge of the city. The site is located just south of Highway 2 which is the primary east-west corridor running through the city and Sanborn Avenue, which runs north-south. The site is just north of the Tri-County Recreational Corridor which is a major trail amenity running through the city. The subject site is within close proximity and walking distance of Lake Superior. The City is seeking a developer to deliver a project that complements the surrounding neighborhood and is successful in the marketplace.
