Specifications include, but are not limited to: The replacement of heat pumps in City Hall (300 E Main St, Sun Prairie, WI). The work will include replacing 21 water source heat pumps with Carrier 50PCH or equivalent units with MERV 13 filtration and a minimum EER, COP as specified in the bid documents. Replacement units should utilize an electronically commutated motor (ECM) and be compatible with current and upcoming HVAC controls updates. Heat pump total capacity should be sized appropriately given the existing space conditions served. The selected contractor shall install heat pump units to maintain necessary clearance for changing filters and maintenance. Funding for this project has been made available through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) resources, and bidders should be familiar with requirements associated, primarily any applicable prevailing wage, domestically sourced content, and the eligible use of funds to improve facility air quality by upgrading to MERV 13 filtration.
