Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division of Social services is seeking a vendor to provide statewide school-based dropout prevention services to at risk middle school youth. The vendor must provide services to “TANF” or “TANF-like children” (children receiving DSS benefits). The selected vendor will also provide a community service project for each youth to complete 10 hours of community services for the school year. The selected vendor must develop or acquire a curriculum that can be taught during the school year for sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth graders. The vendor must establish relationships with different school districts to set up classes to provide • academic remediation/tutoring • career/technical education • case management • contingency management • counseling • mentoring/advocacy • monitoring attendance • parent outreach • youth development
