Specifications include, but are not limited to: DSAMH seeks to contract with qualified Vendor(s) to implement and operate the Community Wellbeing Ambassador (CWA) program in communities identified across the state as heavily impacted by the opioid epidemic, COVID-19 pandemic, gun violence and other adverse outcomes related to inequities and trauma. The CWA program is a community-driven, placebased prevention and intervention strategy designed to promote community well-being and resiliency. At minimum, the CWA program will operate in specific catchment areas Wilmington, New Castle, and Kent County. The Program seeks to expand the impact of the Ambassador pilot program and invites Vendors to apply for funding to implement and operate the Community Wellbeing Ambassador (CWA) program in these areas, and should funding permit, additional communities with identified need.
