Specifications include, but are not limited to: The vendor shall furnish, at its expense, food service equipment, in good working order and appearance, required to properly operate the concession described herein. All vendor equipment must be approved by the Commissioner of Health or their appointed department designee and shall be surveyed at least once every year. If the equipment is not to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Health, it shall be repaired or replaced by the vendor. Repairs shall be completed within one (1) working day with replacements being made within five (5) working days after receiving notice. The City reserves the right to make intermittent inspections and inform the vendor of any faulty equipment. Such equipment shall be subject to repair or replacement in accordance with the provisions mentioned herein. Failure to comply with these provisions may result in the termination of the Contract. The equipment (at a minimum) shall consist of the following: Coin Vending Machines – A slotted manually operated mechanical or electric, dry heated or refrigerated machine dispensing a product having change making capabilities. Vending machine service shall be based on the current level of service, or appropriate alternatives to current service. Current service consists of one hot beverage machine, one sandwich machine, one snack and candy machine, and one soda machine. All vending machines shall be capable of accepting and operating with dollar bills. Maintenance shall be timely. Vendors must provide a means of returning funds to customers who lose money in the machines. Other necessary equipment – Any other equipment required and necessary to operate the concession such as, but not limited to, storage, refrigeration, microwaves, self-service beverage dispensers, serving counters, self-service crushed ice machine, self-service toasters, steam table, oven, stove, sandwich board, condiment counter, waste receptacles, bill changer, cash register and rubbish containers.
