Specifications include, but are not limited to: Remove, replace and surface four (4) asphalt tennis courts at the J. Ben Harrill Recreation Complex, located at 2830 Gulf Trace Blvd. Holiday, FL 34691. 3.1 Removal of Existing Court and fencing 3.1.1 Contractor must demolish and remove from site all existing court material. 3.1.2 Contractor must demolish and remove from site all existing fencing surrounding the courts. 3.1.3 All existing sports lighting will remain in place. 3.2 Court preparation 3.2.1 Contractor is required to add all new crushed aggregate base material at a minimum of four inches (4”) and re-grade to desired pitch of one percent (1%) slope. Compacted using BMP for tennis court installation. 3.2.2 Replace area with type III asphalt at depth of two inches (2”). 3.3 Resurfacing 3.3.1 Contractor must apply two (2) coats of acrylic resurfacer, fortified with sand, to the entirety of all four (4) courts. 3.3.2 Contractor must apply two (2) coats of multi-purpose color plus silica sand to provide depth of Color, durability, texture, and uniformity. 3.3.3 All four (4) courts must be Winter Green inside the perimeter lines and Red on the exterior of the lines. 3.3.4 Final colors must be approved by Pasco County Representative (PCR) before being applied. 3.4 Game Lines and Nets 3.4.1 Lines for all four (4) courts must be two inches (2”) wide and located accurately and painted with heavy duty, white acrylic latex compounded paint. 3.4.2 Contractor must paint lines for eight (8) Pickleball courts, in two-inch (2”) lines. 3.4.3 Pickleball line colors must be approved by PCR before being applied. 3.4.4 A diagram of all game lines and court layout will be provided by the contractor and approved by the PCR prior to painting. 3.4.5 Contractor must replace all nets, net posts, center straps and anchors with brand new nets, net posts, center straps and anchors, using standard tennis court sizes and dimensions per ASBA guidelines.
