Specifications include, but are not limited to: In general, the work consists of construction of a new telecommunications room on the first floor of Shemanske Hall at the VA Union Grove Campus. The new room will provide space for new and updated computer racks and equipment. The primary purpose of this equipment is to update the data/phone lines throughout the leased space with a CAT 6A fiber cable. The project includes normal and emergency electrical power, electrical panel upgrade, bonding, UPS, building management system and temp track interfaces, new HVAC unit for telecommunication room, demolition and replacement of finishes, communication infrastructure (new data outlets, patch panels, CAT 6A cables) and all required physical security upgrades throughout the leased space.
