Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Description This specification describes the submersible connectors four (4) ports for 2/0—14AWG wire purchased under this contract. B. Materials 1. The connector shall be fabricated from high strength 6060-T6 aluminum alloy and encapsulated in rubber with ≥125 mils with high dielectric strength. 2. The connector shall be abrasion, chemical, and UV resistant and not combustible. 3. The connector shall be submersible to six feet (6’) of damp/wet location. 4. The connector shall meet UL486D and ANSI C119.4 Class A specification. 5. The connector shall be AL9CU dual rated for aluminum and copper cables, operating at 600V at a temperature between -45℃ and 90℃. 6. The connector color shall be in black. 7. The connector shall be 3.65” (L) X 2.65” (W) X 2.1” (H). Variation in dimension will be considered under III(A).
