The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Weather Service is in need of a contractor that can deliver a supply of Hydrogen tanks. The requirement is for a base period and four (4) option years at the Weather Forecast Office located in Green Bay, WI in accordance with the attached Request for Quote. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, tools, materials, supplies, and equipment to satisfactorily manage and perform this supply in accordance with the attached Specifications. Duties included but are not limited to the following services: Weekly delivery of Hydrogen tanks. Supply to be delivered under this contract shall be delivered during hours approved by the Government Contact Point (GCP) or a designated representative. Inspection and acceptance of work will be done by the GCP or their designated representative.
The following information is provided in accordance with FAR 5.207(c):
- A National Stock Number is not assigned to this requirement.
- This requirement is for commercial hydrogen gas. There is not a qualification requirement for this product.
- There is no specific manufacturer or part number for this product.
- F.O.B. Destination to 2485 South Point Road, Green Bay, WI 54313.
- The Unit of issue is LOT
- The delivery schedule is weekly.
- This acquisition is not subject to the Free Trade Agreements, exception at FAR 25.401(a)(1).
This supply is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This RFQ 1333MH23QNWWR0019 is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325120, which has a corresponding size standard of 1000 employees or less.
Contractors doing business with the government must be active in the System for Award Management Database (SAM). The Government cannot accept a proposal if the vendor is not active in SAM. SITE VISIT
A site visit is strongly encouraged to inspect the site where deliveries shall be made to satisfy themselves as to all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the performance of the contract. In no event will a failure to inspect the site constitute ground for a claim after award of the contract.
