This solicitation is available to contractors who currently hold a contract with GSA Region 6 under the Small Business Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), for Construction Services (Geographic Area – Kansas). Solicitation is set aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses associated within the geographic area. Access to any and all documents related to this solicitation will only be granted to the listed point of contact for the contract holders (Small Business – Kansas) on the Region 6 Small Business IDIQ. All other requests for access will be denied.
Project Summary: The south facade of the Wichita U.S. Courthouse has cracked and broken stone, open joints, and is discolored with grime, dirt, and microbial growth. Under this project, the stone at the south facade will be patched and repaired, the grout joints will be tooled out and refilled, and the stone surfaces will be cleaned with a dilute chemical rinse and a low-pressure wash. The surfaces to be repointed and cleaned will be accessed from scaffolding or a lift. Existing roof and/or adjacent to or in contact with other finished exterior surfaces, the roof and those surfaces will be protected from damage from the masonry maintenance operations and equipment.
