The vessel is insulated and mounted on a steel frame, which offers adjustable feet on self-centering floor pads. The interior dimensions (minimum 26" wide x minimum 36" high x maximum 60" long) are critical to maintain the throughput (ie number of cages/bottles sterilizer per cycle, old unit could do 190 mouse cages/water bottles per cycle). The exterior dimensions (maximal width 41" x maximal length 74" x maximal height 81") are strictly required in order to fit into the existing space, minimize extra changes to structural/utility infrastructure and to maneuver racks in and out of the unit, based on the rack and room size. Appropriate ramps (inclines) to allow maneuvering the racks in and out of the unit in the existing space (allow for maximal turn radius).
