The Volk Field CRTC intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract for “Fire Crash Rescue Station Renovation/ Remodel”. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All interested offerors shall provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 1:00 PM CDT, 6 June 2023. This notification, which shall not exceed five (5) type written pages, must include: (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (see link to form) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract.
In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this solicitation, it may be advertised as unrestricted. PROGRAM DETAILS: The Volk Field CRTC, Camp Douglas, WI is conducting market research seeking capable sources for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to Renovate/ Remodel Fire Crash Rescue Station Bldg. 510. The project includes renovating the current 15,970 SF facility and additions of 3,430 SF. Typical work includes but is not limited to minor demolition; site utilities/ grading/paving; new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology systems; and upgrading the facilities architectural finishes. All work will be completed in accordance with design requirements, specifications, and drawings provided within the master specifications. This solicitation will result in a single construction contract for both new construction and alterations.
