Work for this project consists of reconditioning a designated 2.0 miles of NFSR 7172 Imlay Sheep Mountain Road per Base Items (with Optional Items for additional designated reconditioning/aggregate placement) to a fourteen (14) foot wide roadway in preparation for furnishing, hauling, and placing specified aggregate base course as Shown on the Drawings and staked by the Government. Blade the placed aggregate to provide a smooth running surface with a centerline crown or as Shown on the Drawings. Reference (FP-14) Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges and as Shown in the Specifications and Drawings.
This project is located within the Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands, Wall Ranger District. Beginning from Scenic, SD, travel east on State Hwy. 44 approximately 5 miles to NFSR 7172 on right. Begin project work on south side of cattle guard as staked by the Government.
