The Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Montana State Office is soliciting proposals for construction activities to consist of doubling the size of four trailhead parking areas. These areas include Norris, John G, Echo, and Tumbleweed. Technical specifications and drawings are provided with the detailed solicitation package. Of note - a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) will need to be obtained by the contractor prior to construction. A closure schedule shall be issued no later than 6 weeks prior to any onsite construction and must address that only two sites can be closed at a time unless approved by the Government. There shall be a 2-week maximum closure for each Trailhead. Norris and John G are not to be closed simultaneously, unless approved by the Government. The project work is located on BLM lands in Broadwater County. The details directions to each Trailhead are provided in the technical drawings.
