The solicitation is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements type contract for the delivery, installation and training of a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Router for foam and cardboard using FAR Part 13 and FAR 19 contracting procedures. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, contract management and equipment to provide a CNC Router at its operating location at Air Force Global Strike Command, Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB), Rapid City, South Dakota (SD) site as defined in the Salient Characteristics. The Contractor shall provide the minimum salient characteristics in this contract. Contractor tasks include contract management, delivery, installation and training.

CNC Router for foam and cardboard with the following salient characteristics.
Three axis 5’ x 10’ moving gantry CNC router with a three-axis industrial controller with LCD color touchscreen monitor. X and Y axes must be/have laser calibration. Minimum of Z axis shall be 12” of travel. Minimum of clearance under the bridge shall be 9”.
Software to run the machine.
AC digital drives with closed-loop brushless AC servo motors with absolute encoders on all linear axes.
9hp/6.5kw @ 18,000 RPM's (S1), 10hp/7.5kw @ 18,000 RPM's (S6) 220/380V ER32 collet spindle, max speed 24,000 rpm, spindle must be air cooled. Max collet is 3/4". Must include dust hood.
