THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:
Title: Custodial Services–Twin Falls VA Clinic, ID
Tasks: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. Facility is appr. 4200 sq ft. Tasks include:
- Maintain floors
- Remove trash
- Clean interior glass/mirrors
- Clean drinking fountains
- Vacuum carpets
- Clean carpets
- Vacuum and clean floor mats
- General spot cleaning
- General dusting
- Sharp containers
- Basic restrooms/lab rooms cleaning services
- Clean and disinfect
- Descale toilet bowls and urinals
- Sweep and mop floor
- Stock restroom/exam rooms/ other areas with supplies
- Periodic cleaning services
- Strip, scrub, seal and wax floors
- Clean interior windows
- Clean exterior windows
- Clean/shampoo carpets
- Change light bulbs
- Special event cleaning

Type of Contract Anticipated: FFP
Period of Performance Anticipated: 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2029 (Base + 4 Option Years); additionally, 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for an additional six (6) months is anticipated.
Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
