Sources Sought Notice
This is a Sources Sought Notice for a tentative requirement for a new (NOT refurbished or used) Full-Size 350 Class tracked excavator with attachments. Brand Name or Equal, as further defined in the Specifications below. As part of the Bureau of Reclamation¿s information and planning purposes, the draft Specifications describe only the current contemplated possible salient characteristics and may vary in the final Specifications included in any Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The anticipated delivery is within 30 days from manufacturer build completion and no later than July 1, 2024.
A Request for Quotation using NAICS 333120 Construction Machinery Manufacturing is contemplated.
This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the Bureau of Reclamation¿s market research. A Request for Quotation does not currently exist. The Bureau of Reclamation is not required to use SAM.gov for any resulting RFQ.
Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes to which the Bureau of Reclamation can issue any awards. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Government does not intend to award a purchase order/contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought.
All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked ¿Proprietary¿ will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response.
Responses to this Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. The Bureau of Reclamation will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought.
There is no commitment by the Government to issue a Request for Quotation, make an award, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this Sources Sought.
The Bureau of Reclamation is requesting interested companies to provide a Capability Statement, which should include their company¿s socio-economic status, inclusive of Total Small Business, if applicable. Capability Statements are to be emailed directly to Contracting Specialist Melissa Parkison at mparkison@usbr.gov.
The close for acceptance of Capability Statements or interest is January 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).
