Offutt AFB is preparing to renew the contract for the Scheduled maintenance and repair services for the Offutt AFB, NE Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility.
The contractor shall provide all tools, supplies, labor, equipment, and labor/management necessary to maintain and repair the Fire Rescue Training Facility at Offutt Air Force Base in a manner that will ensure its serviceability and prevent deterioration in operational effectiveness. Included are the Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility (AFRTF; encompasses the aircraft prop, its controls, conservation pond, pump house and propane tank), and the Structural Trainer. These components hereafter referred to in summary as “Drill Field.” The contractor shall comply with manufacturers’ recommendations and procedures, Air Force Technical Order (T.O.) 35E1-2-13-1 AIRCRAFT FIRE TRAINING FACILITY (revision 2, 25 June 13), NFPA 1403, Standard on Live Fire Training Evolutions, 2018 Edition, NFPA 58: Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code, 2024 Edition, NFPA 1402 construction methods for structural training facilities service and inspection, and local, state, and federal requirements applicable to the work involved.
