VA Response:Â Â AES Corporation - IntelliNet is the manufacturer for the existing fire alarm control panel in Bldg 65.. Question 2 Who is the manufacturer of the existing access control system? VA Response:Â Minuteman Security Technologies is the manufacturer for the existing access control system in Bldg 65. Question 3 What is the size conduit and medium voltage cable for the two 15KV riser assemblies that feed the new service entrance switchgear? VA Response:Â Â Two 4" conduits will be used, one being active and one being a spare, per DWG# ESS-102, Keyed Note 1. The medium voltage cable will be a 4/0 AWG, 15KV rated cable. Question 4 The Is this project tax exempt, if so, will a certificate be issued? VA Response:Â Â Yes. Letter for Vermont can be issued after award. Question 5 Although not mentioned under Solicitation page 33 & 34 of 36, will the bid package require submission One (1) copy of Completed FAR Provisions 52.204-8 Annual Representations & Certifications , Section E pages 26-30 of 36? VA Response:Â Â Separate document submission is not required. Per FAR 54.204-8(d), After reviewing the SAM information, the Offeror verifies by submission of the offer that the representations and certifications currently posted electronically that apply to this solicitation as indicated in paragraph (c) of this provision have been entered or updated within the last 12 months, are current, accurate, complete, and applicable to this solicitation (including the business size standard applicable to the NAICS code referenced for this solicitation), as of the date of this offer and are incorporated in this offer by reference Question 6 Will there be an area designated off Veterans Drive (Immediate construction area) that will allow for the Contractor to stage a laydown area to have a dumpster, portable toilet and storage? Or will storage, dumpster etc. need to be located back near the water tower at Lot 7? VA Response:Â Â There is roughly a 10-15 foot wide space along the curbing between Veterans Drive and the main grassy slope down to the existing switchgear that can be used as a laydown area. Any disturbance or damage to the site will be required to be returned to it's pre-construction state, or better. Question 7 Will contractor parking be available in the immediate work area, if so, how many vehicles are allowed? VA Response:Â Â Most likely scenario is that the stretch of Veterans Drive by the job site will be fenced off, keeping access to T-63 and Bldg 65 open. Contractor vehicles may park within there, allowing space for roughly 2 vehicles. Question 8 General Requirements Specifications indicate certain motor vehicle restrictions and allowance of two (2) to five (5) permits for parking by General Contractor and employees. Is this limit campus wide between Lot 7 and immediate construction area (if allowed)? VA Response:Â Â The permit applies to employee parking. Parking within the construction zone does not require a permit. Question 9 Will you be able to provide interior pictures of the existing Switchgear and Transformer Cabinets? VA Response:Â Â See attachment. Photos of existing switchgear cabinet included. Photos of existing transformer cabinet unavailable. Question 10 Considering the Site Visit was postponed from April 3rd to April 9th due to weather conditions, would it be possible to extend the due date for the proposal?. VA Response:Â Â Bid opening remains unchanged at 1:00pm EDT on Friday, April 26, 2024. Question 11 Will a copy of the sign-in sheet be posted on Sam.gov? VA Response:Â Â See attachment.
