The new physical therapy gym will have a gait track for gait training inpatient and outpatient Veterans. The track will be between 100-150 ft, final length will be determined by the engineer and as the construction progresses. The following items are needed for this procurement: Technical Specifications Gait track needs to be Zero-G name brand specific. Zero G provides a functionality that other gait systems do not provide. Zero G has a trolley system that always stays directly above the patient while walking or performing any functional activities. Other robotic gait systems have a trolley system that lags behind the patient creating a lag/drag on the patient. The drag can create compensatory movements and not replicate ideal functional movements that we are striving for in rehab. The Zero G is a system that allows true/ideal functional gait, and other movement patterns including bending to pick something off the floor and stepping over objects. Body-Weight Support Patented Dynamic Unloading System Static weight support: 0 450 lbs Dynamic weight support: 10 200 lbs Safety monitor at 1000 times per second Trolley System- capable of tracking subject movements up to 5mph Track Configuration 100 feet standard with ability to extend 150 feet straight or curved sections, customized for each facility User Interface Touch-screen user interface on main computer Wireless interface, Android OS, 802.11a/n Patient Limitations Maximum patient weight: 450 lbs Maximum patient height: approx. drop-down ceiling height 30 The room will be minimum of 8.5 feet A.F.F.
