WEST LODGEPOLE THINNING

A. This is a solicitation for Project # West Lodgepole Thinning
B. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Idaho state office has a requirement for fuels management services to reduce the risk of wildland fires while improving forest and rangeland health. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, tools, labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, training, and incidentals necessary to perform tree thinning services in accordance with the specifications provided. The work under this contract is to eliminate live lodgepole pine and Douglas fir saplings or naturally regenerated in the early 1970¿s by cutting pile or scatter the treatment slash per contract specifications. Piled slash will be burned at a later date. Units may be cut and piled by varying methods, including: hand thinning/piling, mechanical (feller buncher, skidder, log loader i.e.).

D. The period of performance for this project is estimated July 15, 2024 ¿ November 15, 2024
E. This acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside based upon North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 115310, size standard of $34M.
F. The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this project.
G. This solicitation is issued electronically. It is only available via the official beta.SAM.gov website. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package as no paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors shall register at beta.SAM.gov in order to receive notifications and/or changes to solicitation.
