The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 15 is soliciting for competitive quotes for a single award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for scheduled moving services with the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (RJDVAMC), Wichita, KS. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses only.
Ordering periods: Five (5) 12-month ordering periods. First ordering period projected start date: August 24, 2024.
Basic description of requirement: Moving services for various project activations and office moves throughout the Wichita VA Medical Center and between buildings on the RJDVAMC campus and the Wichita VA Medical Center community-based outpatient care leased facilities (CBOCs). Tasks will include, but are not limited to: 1) Load/transport/off-load goods between sites, 2) Disassemble and re-assemble existing furniture, 3) Assemble new furniture, 4) Furniture installation. All work to be closely coordinated with the RJDVAMC FMS Capital Projects or Interior Design and planning staff, as well as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
Solicitation Documents: Dissemination of the solicitation is limited to electronic medium. All interested Offerors (primes & subcontractors) should register at www.sam.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updates or amendments. An Offeror's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the Offerors responsibility to register at the www.sam.gov website.
Set-aside Information: This solicitation is issued under FAR subpart 19.5 as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code assigned to this acquisition is 484210, Used Household and Office Goods Moving, with a small business size standard $34.0 Million.
Solicitation Amendments: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at www.sam.gov. Paper copies of the amendment will NOT be individually mailed. By registering to "follow", you will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendment(s) will be provided. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers Offerors should re-visit the website periodically to look for updates.
