The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential sources capable of providing the services described below. The Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton ST., Loma Linda, CA 92357, is seeking is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Install 2 water monitoring system for the Community Living Center Rehabilitation Unit. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and qualified personnel to perform installation of two new water auto-monitoring systems for the hot and cold incoming water that includes, adjustments, testing, and validation specifically in the following building: CLC Rehab/scope of work: Provide and install two (2) Signet 4630 Chlorine and PH Analyzer or like approved equivalent made in the USA analyzer in the CLC Rehab EMS Closet, located in room 1H-128, for both the hot and cold-water inlets with PH & Chlorine Sensors. Contractor to isolate and lockout the hot and cold domestic ball valves for room 1H-128, prior to connecting the water supplies to the chlorine analyzers. Contractor to install two new isolation ball valves, after the two isolation ball valves for room 1H-128 to be able to isolate the two new chlorine analyzers. Contractor to procure and install a micro heat exchanger to cool down the domestic hot water as the analyzer isn t rated for high hot water temperatures. Contractor to install copper piping will be installed running down the wall and surface mounted to feed the hot and cold analyzers. Contractor to insulate the copper lines installed in room 1H-128. Contractor to tie new auto monitoring panel into the existing Schneider Electric BMS System located in Graphics Control and this includes point database input, application programming, graphics creation, system startup and commissioning. The closet connection is in the adjacent wing of CLC Palliative Care Mechanical Room. Contractor to install the required 120v circuit to power the analyzer in conduit in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) No live work will be authorized a scheduled shut down must be coordinated with the hospital for any electrical tie-ins or plumbing. Contractor to program the panels for trending historical water analysis. Contractor to modify the existing domestic water ½ copper piping with tees and ball valves with barbed fittings to install vinyl tubing from the barbed fittings on the domestic water piping side to the inlet barb on the Signet panel. Contractor to provide and install two condensate pumps for the drain side of Signet panel and install vinyl tubing from the drain of the condensate pump to the floor drain located in the EMS Closet or mechanical room. Contractor to program the panels for trending historical water analysis. Existing water lines to be drained by VALLHCS plumbing personnel.
