On behalf of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) Joint Program Manager for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear – Medical, the US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground – Edgewood Division – Frederick Branch intends to execute a new firm fixed price, sole source, purchase order to Research Corporation Technologies Inc (RCT) to access their Pischia Pastoris licenses, for research purposes.
In accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1), only one responsible source appears capable of delivering the required license package. RCT of Tucson, Arizona 85718-3643 offers proprietary licensing rights of their Pichia Pastoris strains, vectors, derivatives, and related materials for use with future research efforts. RCT is the only known vendor that is able to provide the required license.
While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, responsible parties purporting to have the requisite credentials and capabilities to provide the above license package must furnish, in writing, factual information to demonstrate their ability to meet this requirement, within 15 days. A determination not to compete this proposed Contract Action based on any responses to this notice is solely within
the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
