The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1) is seeking to identify any vendor capable of providing five (5) McGrath Mac Handle Laryngoscope for the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta, ME per the Specifications below. This is a brand name requirement OEM Medtronic, Item number 301-000-000. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their capability and availability to provide the requirement described below. Vendors are encouraged to submit information relative to their capabilities to fulfill this requirement, in the form of a statement that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought. Information received from this Sources Sought shall be utilized to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. Background The VA Maine Healthcare System's Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service provides prosthetic devices to eligible Veterans. The McGrath MAC Handle is a specialized prosthetic component that attaches to a prosthetic arm to enable grasping and performing activities of daily living. Additional MAC Handle devices are required to meet patient needs. Scope The contractor shall provide: 3.1 Five (5) McGrath MAC Handle devices, item number 301-000-000, that replace the previous 300-000-000 model. 3.2 The devices shall be new and unused. 3.3 The contractor shall ensure secure packaging to prevent damage during shipping. Shipping/Delivery 4.1 The contractor shall deliver the devices to the following address: VA Maine Healthcare System Anesthesiology 1 VA Center Augusta, ME 04330 4.2 Delivery shall occur within 60 calendar days after receipt of order.
