Statement of Work The musician will provide musical accompaniment for one, two, or three Chapel Services per week and also perform during special programs such as, but not limited to, two Memorial Ceremonies, a September 11 Observance, and a POW Ceremony. The number of services performed each month will vary, but the total number of services performed during a year will not exceed the number specified in the contract schedule. The musician will work closely with the Chaplain who is responsible for the Worship Service or Special Event. The Chaplain will have authority to choose or substitute music selections. The musician must possess the skills to perform with a high level of accuracy all the hymns in the BOOK OF WORSHIP FOR UNITED STATES FORCES . The musician is expected to arrive fifteen minutes prior to any scheduled service or special event. Arriving after the scheduled times of services or events will not be accepted and payment will not be made for that event. In the event that the musician is unable to fulfill his/her responsibility, he/she will contact a designated substitute musician whose name and phone number will be supplied by the Chief, Chaplain Service, and will also contact the Chief, Chaplain Service to report that a substitute musician was contacted. The time and location of the Services for which you will provide accompaniment are: -Roman Catholic Main Chapel Building 1 8:00 A.M. to 8:45 A.M. * - Protestant Main Chapel Building 1 9:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. - Protestant Magnolia Room Building 15 10:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. *There is a possibility that musician services will be discontinued for the Roman Catholic Mass and that musician services may be required for a weekly Thursday Hymn Sing Service, Building 15, Magnolia Room, 10:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Intermittent, unscheduled special programs will be required in addition to the scheduled worship services. Special programs will be announced a minimum of two days in advance so that the musician will have adequate time for preparation. The musician must possess good interpersonal skills in order to comfortably interact with worship service and special program attendees The musician will be courteous and respectful to all those who attend the worship and special event programs. The musician will behave in a friendly and dignified manner when interacting with program attendees. Failure to consistently meet these interpersonal requirements could result in termination of the contract. The musician will follow all applicable medical center policies and procedures.
