The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Great Basin Plant Materials Center (PMC) 2044 Schurz Highway, Churchill County, Fallon, NV.
As described in the Statement of Work, the project consists of demolishing, removing, and replacing four 8.5ft long sections of damaged concrete irrigation ditch.
A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.
This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business set-aside. To be eligible for award, interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov
The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $45M.
The anticipated period of performance for this project is 30 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is less than $25,000.
