Supply four trail rakes.
Trail Rake Requirements:
Key Elements
- 45” wide fixed rake
- Hydraulic Controls w/ no relay
- Heavy duty 0.025” square steel tubing frame
- Reinforced rake comb of ¼” and ½” steel bar with replaceable tines
- Rollover cage
- Capable of being towed behind any ATV of ≥500cc
45” wide fixed rake
The 45” wide fixed rake is recommended for OHV trail grooming, fitting within the designated trail prism and minimizing unnecessary impact to adjacent natural resources. Trail grooming is an essential duty which must be completed in a timely manner to ensure trails are open and safe for public use.
Hydraulic Controls w/ no relay
Hydraulic cylinders have proven very reliable and maintenance free for many years hard use, which in turn means more cost-effective long term. Hydraulic pumps and cylinders have the fastest operating time to move machine parts which allows for shorter running time, so there is less draw of
battery power per movement increasing the overall length of battery life between charges.
Heavy duty 0.025” square steel tubing frame
Heavy 0.025“ steel frame helps prolong the life of the equipment, making it durable when operating over difficult terrain and rock gardens. This lowers the risk of equipment damage and maintenance over the life of the equipment.
Reinforced rake comb of ¼” and ½” steel bar with replaceable tines
Reinforced rake combo of ¼” and ½” steel bar for raking allows for sturdy grooming along difficult, rocky terrain. The replaceable tines allow for easy maintenance on equipment.
Rollover cage
Terrain throughout our OHV systems can be rough and challenging consisting of various difficulty ratings up to Black Diamond or “Most Difficult”. The rollover cage is necessary to ensure adequate equipment protection in the event of a rollover and will help to reduce the risk of equipment damage, while also increasing rider safety. Over time, this feature should yield lower maintenance costs and risk of accidents/injuries.
Capable of being towed behind any ATV of ≥500cc
Steep, rocky terrain throughout our OHV systems can be cumbersome, especially when towing equipment. Rider/Operator safety is the number one priority. Rakes need to be capable of being towed behind any ATV ≥500cc to mitigate risk of accidents/injuries.
