Contractor shall remove an estimated 8,050 square feet of vinyl tile and 557 linear feet of base. Contractor is responsible for removal and replacement of all parachute tables, lockers and other items excluding electronics from the area prior to start. Facility occupants are responsible for removal of all electronics and personal items from the area and providing a temp storage area for the furniture. Contractor is responsible for all flooring prep work and filling to ensure a smooth uniform finish for new static-free epoxy finish in a light gray approx. 8,855 square feet in enough coats and texture for warehouse applications to be in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications for warranty. The installation includes a continuous cove base 4.5 inches in height of the same material as the floor (estimated 600 linear feet) or furnish and install a rubber or vinyl cove base in a color to match the installed floor.
A site visit will be held Monday, 8 July 2024 at 10:00 AM CST. Initial meeting place for site visit attendees will be the Little Rock AFB’s Visitors Center for sign-in at 9:30 AM CST. After sign-in, all parties will then conduct the site visit at Building 259. Submit attendees no later than 2:00 PM CST, Friday, 5 June 2024. Attendees will be limited to two individuals per offeror. Site visits will be at the offeror’s expense and the Government will not be held liable for costs incurred.

The Government will assign a rating of “Acceptable” or “Unacceptable” to the offeror’s submission of the description of flooring to be used. An Acceptable flooring description will meet the specifications described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). An Unacceptable flooring description will not meet the specifications described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). An Unacceptable flooring description will result in the entire quotation being determined unacceptable and the offeror's proposal will not receive further consideration.
Please note, all personnel requesting access to Little Rock Air Force Base must possess a valid State or Government picture identification card. Furthermore, individuals presenting identification cards from a state that is non-compliant with the REAL ID Act will require additional documentation to gain unescorted base access. Additional documentation includes a valid U.S. or foreign government issued passport, an employment authorization document that contains a photograph, or identification cards issued by federal, state or local government agencies that include a photo and biographic information.
