THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, therefore no quotes are being requested at this time. As part of our market research, we are looking for companies interested in providing garbage and recycling service. Said service will cover recreation sites (mainly campgrounds) on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.
As of this posting: There are a total of 38 sites (locations) between all 5 ranger districts on the forest. The contractor is required to provide the garbage and recycling containers. Total garbage containers is at 56 with the minimum garbage container size ranging from 2 cubic yards to 8 cubic yards. Total recycling containers is at 40 with the minimum recycling container size ranging from 4 cubic yards to 8 cubic yards.
The intended overall length of service will be up to five years.

Next step will be a solicitation posting here on SAM, sometime in August or early September. The intent is to start service on November 1st, 2024.
