Physical Support Branch: Maintenance and Repair Unit, requests the award of a contract for one new hydraulic concrete grinder designed for use on a CAT 305 mini excavator which is in the 3-8 ton class of excavators. The Maintenance and Repair Unit has a mission requirement to maintain the nine-foot navigational channel involving mechanical dredging, rock work, obstruction removal, Lock and Dam infrastructure rehab work, etc. This contract is to supply one new hydraulic cutter for a mini track excavator that Maintenance & Repair owns. Attachment is necessary to complete needed repairs at multiple lock and dam sites.
Scope of Work
- Contractor to provide one new hydraulic concrete grinder equivalent to Antraquip AQ-1, for mini tracked excavator meeting requirement listed below.
Note: This attachment will be used on the Cat 305 mini excavators that are equipped with quick connects, that the MVP Army Corp of Engineers owns and operates. Due to the type of work, proposed usage, and the concrete demolition plan, we are limited in the size of grinder which can be utilized.

Hydraulic attachment to compatible with Caterpillar 305 quick attachment.
Hydraulic attachment must be equipped with integrated rotation system to allow grinding head 360-degree rotation.
Hydraulic attachment must come with necessary mounting hardware.
Includes delivery and set up on excavator supplied by government and shall be delivered no later than October 30, 2024.
