THIS IS A Sources Sought Notice ONLY. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested businesses (large and small) to respond to this sources sought notice. In addition, small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price.
This requirement is for operators, a rigging team, and one (1) Crane capable of hoisting an M1A2 Abrams (73.59 tons) onto/off of a Rail Car at a radius of 24 feet from the Crane. The Crane will be used to upload non-mission capable equipment from the ground onto train cars at Camp Funston Rail Yard, Fort Riley, KS, as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
DTG is 12-15AUG - day breakdown is as follows:
12AUG24: Mobilize in, standby to lift for any remainder of the 8-hour day
13AUG24: Lift (8 Hrs)
14AUG24: Lift (8 Hrs)
15AUG24: Standby to Lift ~3 Hrs, Mobilize out
