CDC has a Brand name requirement for The QIAcuity One 5-plex Digital PCR system which is a dPCR system with the capability of detecting up to 5 fluorescent dyes in a single sample well and is designed to deliver precise and multiplexed quantification results for mutation detection, copy number variation (CNV), gene expression, gene editing analysis, and more. The nanoplate based system provides an automated platform that completes the standard dPCR workflow with minimal hands-on time. The automated platform will increase lab efficiency and provide precise results from sample to data analysis within 2 hours. The purchase of the equipment also includes the QIAcuity Software Suite where laboratorians can define procedures and assign dPCR experiments to the nanoplates, once the run is complete the data can be analyzed within the suite or exported for external analysis. The software allows for multiple users to access with a standard browser without requiring multiple software downloads or software licenses. The workflow will be used to qualify new virus stocks used in antigenic analysis with a quicker turnaround.
