The Maine Army National Guard (MEARNG) 1136th Transportation Company has issued a solicitation for a firm-fixed-price service, for catered meals from 13-15 September 2024 in support of its training event. The Contractor shall provide the meals in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. (PWS)
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 722320 – Caterers, with a small business size standard of $9 Million is applicable to this requirement, with the Product Service Code: S203 – Housekeeping – Food.
This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being solicited as total small business set aside.
Period of Performance: Friday, September 13 thru Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Location: Toque Pond Service Area, Baster Park Road, Greenville, Maine 04441.
This acquisition is utilizing procedures in FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The Government will evaluate each offer based on Technical, Past Performance and Price. The Contractor must be found to be acceptable based on the factors listed in clause 52.212-2 – Evaluation of Commercial Items.in the solicitation. The awardee shall meet all requirement of food preparation and servicing business within the State of Maine.
All RFQ and its amendments will be posted to www.sam.gov. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for the solicitation and any amendments. Solicitation mailing lists will NOT be compiled and the RFQ and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy.
All documentation can and must be downloaded from the website above. Firms interested in submitting offers must be currently registered in the System for Award Management, complete the entire solicitation document to include representations and certifications, provisions, and clauses, provide all product technical specification documentation and technical compliance certifications, to be eligible for contract award.

Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
Wage Determination: Service Contact Labor Standards (SCLS) are applicable to this acquisition. Offerors shall use the attached Wage Determination: 2015-4007 – Revision 26 dated 4-19-2024 – Piscataquis County.
