STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
FOR
Prep and Pack Stations
VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION

1. INTRODUCTION
This solicitation is to provide the Robert J. Dole VAMC with ( 6 ) prep and pack stations and 1 wrapping workstation for use in the Sterile Processing Services for preparing instrumentation for surgical procedures.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, hardware, installation, trainings, and any necessary educational materials needed for the successful utilization of the workstations by Robert J. Dole VAMC staff.
3. INSTALLATION & CLEAN UP
- Contractor representatives must check in with either the contracting officer’s representative (COR), Supervisor, Assistant Chief, or Nurse manager. when they arrive on-site and check out upon completion of work each day.
- Contractor on-site visits shall be coordinated with the COR (or designee) before being scheduled or conducted.
- Contractor staff shall always be professional and shall take all necessary precautions to maintain a safe environment for the occupants.
- Contractor shall protect all items from damage. The Contractor shall take precaution against damage to the building(s), grounds, and furnishings. The Contractor shall repair or replace any items related to building(s) or grounds damaged accidentally or on purpose due to actions by the Contractor.
4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

B. Technical Requirements:
- 60”L x 32”W height-adjustable workstation
- Power: 15A, 120V, or 60H required
5. TRAINING
- The contractor shall provide an on-site training program for SPS personnel.
- Training for SPS personnel must provide SPS staff with the tools and knowledge to fully operate the devices and conduct checks per the manufacturer’s instructions and hospital regulations, as well as answer any questions personnel may have regarding the new equipment.
- Contractor shall coordinate all training dates with COR (or designee) who will communicate internally with appropriate VA staff.
- Contractor shall maintain records of training participants and whether training was completed or not, to be provided to COR upon request.
- If applicable, Contractor shall include all travel, registration, and other associated costs to provide this training in their proposal.
- Contractor shall protect all items from damage. The Contractor shall take precaution against damage to the building(s), grounds, and furnishings. The Contractor shall repair or replace any items related to building(s) or grounds damaged accidentally or on purpose due to actions by the Contractor.
6. WARRANTY/MAINTENANCE SERVICE
- The warranty shall include all manufacturer recommended Preventive Maintenance procedures for its duration.
- The contractor shall provide at minimum a 3-year warranty.
- The warranty shall include the following: all parts, all accessories, and all software shall be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and shall include all parts and labor.
- The contractor shall provide documentation of all work completed (corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, software updates, etc.) within 3 business days of completion to the contracting officer’s representative or designee.
- The warranty period shall not begin until after the Dole VAMC COR or designee has accepted the products delivery, installation, and functionality.

7. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
The C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
8. HOURS OF WORK
Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, excluding Federal holidays. The Government hereby provides notice and Contractor hereby acknowledges receipt that Government personnel observe the listed days as holidays:

9. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The contractor shall have system fully installed no later than 90 days after contract award. Coordination between the contracting officer and the site point-of-contact/contracting officer’s representative will be required after contract award to establish the start date to complete any required site preparations.
